Surrounded by her family at Trillium Hospice on Monday, October 16, Yvonne Sollitt made her way home into the fullness of God’s light and love. Our prayers and thoughts surround Wayne and their family at this time.
Yvonne attended Knox with her husband Wayne over the course of the years and we appreciate Yvonne's reading of scripture in worship only a few months ago. She always looked lovely and was a kind, gentle and caring soul who loved to play bridge and spend time with family.
After moving from Salt Spring Island to Qualicum Beach, Yvonne was active in the library at Knox and helped in the preparation of communion. We remember and are appreciative of all the quiet ways she served, and her presence will be missed.
Her family has indicated that there will not be a service at this time.
