In Loving Memory ~
Patricia Anne Craig, 1962 to January 17, 2025, following a brave battle with cancer. Patricia embodied kindness, always seeking the positive.
She loved teaching, inspiring and encouraging primary grade students for 35 years with her creativity and compassion.
Since retiring she volunteered with the community literacy program for early readers. Travels with her family took her on many adventures throughout Canada, Mexico, Britain, Turkey and Europe, most recently walking the 600 km Camino Trail through Portugal and Spain. She was an awesome baker and cook; loved music, reading, gardening, exploring nature and serving the community through her church and various activities.
Pre-deceased by her parents Carl and Mary Burgher of North Vancouver.
Survived by her beloved husband James, Patricia's partner for 44 years; daughters Caitlin Craig (Josh Mesic) and Rebecca Craig; sisters Jean (Larry) McFadden, Mary (Christopher) Stanwood and five nieces.
Much beloved by her family and many friends, Patricia’s Celebration of Life is this coming Friday, January 24th at 10:30 a.m.
It is with deepest sadness for her family and ourselves that we inform you of the passing of Patricia Craig. Patricia was a beautiful soul who radiated positivity, creativity, faith, courage, service and above all love. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, teacher and friend and we will all miss her gentle kindness, laughter and warmth.
Patricia was a long-time member of Knox United, taught Sunday School, helped in the leadership of Sisters United, served at Fall Fair at the bake table, sang in the choir, was a walking club regular, and had most recently begun to serve on the Trustees.
Our loving thoughts and prayers go to her husband James, her daughter Caitlin and fiancé Josh, her daughter Rebecca and boyfriend Matt, and her sisters Jean and Mary and their families.
