Last year Knox United Church through donations by friends and congregants provided $12,000 worth of food cards to folks in need who walked through our doors for help and a listening heart. This year we have developed a ministry known as the Counselling and Healing Collective, a collection of 3 counsellors and 2 healing practitioners who offer professional support to people. Some of these clients cannot afford the fees and need to be subsidized fully or partially by Knox. Knox offers many other programmes to the community that help everyone experience greater wholeness of life: The Gathering Place drop in coffee, hot lunch and weekly youth drop ins, worship services, spiritual discussion groups, meaningful Celebrations of Life, concerts, community based programmes, community nights for unsheltered people, etc.  We are so much more than a church…if you would like to make a contribution to Knox United and support our many relevant programs please make a donation in the special envelopes provided, make an etransfer to acctg@kucparksville.ca, or see our website www.kucparksville.ca  and click on the donate button.
